Quilting with rulers 202

This class will be teaching & using 2 Westalee rulers. We at Sew Much More will have these in stock for you to purchase prior to class. We also carry the sliders if you need to pick one up.

Are Quilt tops languishing in your closet because free motion quilting on your home machine sounds difficult. Take the easy way out. Quilt them with rulers. A ruler foot and a selection of rulers is all you need. For a small investment you will get a professional looking quilt.  Bring lunch or a snack – we will take a break midway.

Materials List:
1. Ruler foot appropriate for your machine. (If unsure of this foot, please contact instructor)
2. Contrasting thread & small practice sandwich (1/2 yard folded with batting in between)
3. Frixon marking pen. And a lead pencil or sharpie. No ballpoint pens.
4. A few safety pins to hold your sandwich together.
5. Please bring patience and a willingness to make mistakes we’ll have fun making them and learning from them. We are making a practice piece, and no one will ever have to see it unless you show it to them.

Optional:
1. Supreme slider
2. Extension table for your machine (bring if you have one for a larger work surface)
3. Quilting gloves
