On Assignment Missions, based in Garden City needs help finishing the edges of fleece to make blankets for the homeless this winter......yes, we know that it is 100 degrees in the shade at the moment, but when the temperatures start to drop, quilters are usually up to their ears in Christmas projects......so we thought it was a good idea to help with this wonderful mission project before we all get too busy! The mission is providing all the fleece fabric, just bring your machine, thread and scissors. And please bring your friends that would like to help, even if they don't know how to sew. There will be plenty they can do to help with trimming edges etc.
